Discover Lagoon 450 Fly – Lagoon 450 Fly, a 6-cabin catamaran that pairs the easy rhythm of an Ionian summer cruise with the comfort and stability of a modern multihull. Launched in 2019 and measuring 13.96 metres (45.8 ft) overall, Lagoon 450 Fly is currently based in Sami Port | Sami — a perfect launchpad for week-long sailing escapes across the calm, green-clad channels of the Ionian.

Laid out with 12 berths, 6 sleeping cabins and 5 toilets, Lagoon 450 Fly is a natural fit for two families travelling together, a circle of friends or a small group exploring secluded coves and turquoise bays at their own pace. Bed linen, pillows and blankets are part of the charter price on many boats and a base extra on others — we tell you which before you book, so you can step on board, stow your provisions and head straight for the open water.

The boat carries a classic mainsail. On board you will also find audio system, stand-up paddle, and flat screen TV. Whether you're weaving through the protected channels between Lefkada and Meganisi, anchoring off Kefalonia's blue-water bays, or making the long hop south to Ithaca and Zakynthos, Lagoon 450 Fly gives you the platform to design the trip on your own schedule, while our team stays on call from the first enquiry until you step ashore again.

General questions

April to October. Peak season is mid-July to mid-August (28–32°C, 25–27°C sea, strong Meltemi wind in the Cyclades). Shoulder season — May, June, September, early October — gives 25–40% lower rates with sea warm enough for swimming and quieter anchorages. Saronic and Ionian stay gentler; the Dodecanese and Sporades work well from June through September.

The main bases are Athens (Alimos), Lavrion, Mykonos, Paros, Corfu, Lefkada, Preveza, Rhodes, Kos, Skiathos, and Volos. Pick the base that fits your flights and the islands you want to see — Athens for Saronic/Cyclades, Lefkada or Preveza for Ionian, Rhodes/Kos for Dodecanese, Skiathos/Volos for Sporades.

Across the next twelve months this catamaran is offered from 3,325 € to 9,310 € per week; the figure depends on the week you pick and always covers the whole week, never a single day. The live calendar above shows the rate for each week. The skipper, transit log, final cleaning and any other mandatory or optional extras are priced individually in the Extras section, and fuel, marina fees and park fees (Alonissos Marine Park, Lefkas Canal toll) appear on every quote.

Yes. Greek Port Police require a recognised skipper licence (ICC, RYA Day Skipper or higher, or accepted national equivalent) and a VHF SRC certificate on board. A co-skipper declaration is signed at check-in. If your licence is in doubt, book a skippered charter — the captain handles all licensing and base sign-off.

Bareboat suits a crew with a recognised licence and recent experience; before you cast off, the operator files your crew list and licence copies with the port police. A skippered charter adds a captain and removes the licensing question — when the operator offers a skipper for this catamaran, the price is listed in the Extras section. A fully crewed catamaran with captain and hostess (or chef) sits at the luxury end — provisioning, meals and routing handled, you step on board to a stocked galley. Useful when groups are mostly non-sailors or you want full focus on the experience.

Board Saturday late afternoon (typically from 17:00). Return to base Friday by 18:00 for the Friday-evening checks. Sleep on board Friday night. Disembark Saturday by 09:00 in time for the next charter.

Yes — catamarans are the most family-friendly platform we charter. Stable on anchor, wide deck space, easy access to the water from the swim platforms, and separate cabin layouts for parents and children. The protected Saronic Gulf, the calm Ionian (Lefkada–Meganisi–Kefalonia), and the sheltered Sporades Marine Park anchorages are particularly suited to younger crews.
