Lavrion → Kea (Vourkari)
Starting your journey at Lavrion, where the air still smells of salt and adventure, From Kea's Vourkari Bay, a peaceful harbor where yachts and fisher boats share the blue seas, sail. Dive into the WWII wreck Brittany at sunset, then feast on octopus carpaccio at a seaside taverna; the sound of lapping waves provides background music.
Things to do
Hike to the 6th-century BC Stone Lion of Kea
Dive the Brittany WWII wreck at sunset
Octopus carpaccio at a Vourkari ouzeri
Walk Ioulida marble alleys at dusk
Swim at Otzias before settling for the night
Mooring tip
Stern-to in Vourkari (lazy lines, small fee) — best shelter from N Meltemi. Korissia town quay is the free alternative but exposed if N winds are above 18 kn.

Kea → Syros (Ermoupolis)
Allow the Meltemi winds to lead you to Syros, a Cycladic treasure where Greek appeal meets Venetian majesty. Stroll the marble-paved streets of Ermoupolis, pastel houses shining in the light. After ascending the cobbled stairs for sunset views, enjoy loukoumi (rosewater pleasure) from a 19th-century confectionary.
Things to do
Walk marble lanes to Miaouli Square
Climb Ano Syros for sunset cathedral views
Try loukoumi at Sykoutris confectionery
Sip soumada (almond milk) at a kafeneio
Catch a rembetiko set in a back-alley pub
Mooring tip
Stern-to on Ermoupoli town quay (free, plenty of space). Excellent shelter in any wind direction; the safest hideout in the central Cyclades when Meltemi blows above 30 kn.

Syros → Tinos
Sail toward Tinos, the spiritual center of the Cyclades. Pilgrims crawl to the Panagia Evangelistria church, but you will hunt marble wonders throughout Pyrgos village. Lunch in a patio covered by bougainvillea on artichokes à la polita; then search the undulating hills for secret dovecotes.
Things to do
Visit the Panagia Evangelistria pilgrim church
Explore Pyrgos marble-carving village
Hunt the Volos secret dovecote countryside
Lunch on artichokes à la polita
Wine tasting at a Falatados vineyard
Mooring tip
Stern-to on Tinos town quay (lazy lines, marina office assigns slot via VHF 09). Excellent shelter from N. Avoid the ferry quay — wash is brutal in season.

Tinos → Mykonos
Trade peace for Mykonos's electrical power. Dock in Mykonos Town, where stylish boutiques and cobalt-domed chapels pulse from whitewashed lanes. From Paradise's DJ beats to Agios Sostis' remote coves, beach-hop. Eat lobster pasta in Little Venice, the sea licking your feet.
Things to do
Day-trip to the ancient ruins of Delos
Sundowner at Little Venice waterfront
Beach-hop Paradise to Agios Sostis
Wander Chora's whitewashed alleyways
Photograph the iconic Kato Mili windmills
Mooring tip
Tourlos New Marina, lazy lines on assigned berth — book by VHF 09 or 24h ahead in August. Old port is exposed in N Meltemi and not viable for overnight stays.

Mykonos → Paros (Naousa)
Paros calls with the postcard-perfect harbor of Naousa. Swim in the moon-like beaches of Kolymbithres, then sip Assyrtiko wine from a vineyard built from old marble quarries. Join the buzz in a coastal bar as night falls, where jazz combines with the clang of mast rigging.
Things to do
Wander Naoussa's whitewashed fishing harbour
Swim Kolymbithres rock-pool coves
Visit Panagia Ekatontapiliani Byzantine church
Wine tasting at a Moraitis marble-quarry vineyard
Evening jazz at a Naoussa quayside bar
Mooring tip
Naoussa small fishing harbour (lazy lines, fills early — drop crew, then circle for a slot). Parikia anchorage in 5–8 m sand south of the ferry quay. Both exposed to N — Naoussa Bay can roll in strong Meltemi.

Paros → Ios
Ios vibrates with golden sands and long evenings. Claim a sunbed at Mylopotas Beach, then climb to Homer's supposedly tomb for sunset views. Chora's square bursts in rembetika music around midnight; ouzo flows, laughter resonates, and the stars gradually fade into day.
Things to do
Beach day at Mylopotas crescent of sand
Hike to the tomb of Homer at Plakotos
Sundown drinks at the Chora windmills
Late-night rembetiko in Chora square
Snorkel Magganari triple-bay coves
Mooring tip
Stern-to on Ormos town quay (lazy lines, free, ferry wash heavy — moor away from ferry berth). Anchor in Mylopotas Bay (8 m sand) for a quieter overnight away from the party.

Ios → Santorini
Get to Santorini while the caldera blazes in afternoon sunshine. Kayak to volcanic hot springs; then, sail to Oia for the sunset—the heavens ablaze in apricot and rose. Dine in a cliffside cave on fava dip, the Aegean stretching out indefinitely beneath capers.
Things to do
Tender into the caldera for hot-spring swim
Sunset at Oia (taxi up from the marina)
Wine tasting of Assyrtiko Nykteri
Walk Akrotiri prehistoric ruins
Cliffside dinner of fava dip and capers
Mooring tip
Vlychada Marina is the only safe option (lazy lines, book 48h ahead — fills in summer). Caldera anchorage too deep (200 m+); avoid Ammoudi Bay overnight, exposed and tight in any swell.

Santorini → Folegandros
Get away to Folegandros, where Chora hamlet clings to cliffs like a seabird's nest. Trekking the cliffside road to Panagia church, find a sea a sapphire canvas underfoot. Feast on matsata pasta with wild goat ragù in a lantern-lit taverna; the evening alive with cicada music.
Things to do
Hike up to Chora cliff-top old town
Climb to Panagia church for sunset views
Dinner of matsata pasta with goat ragù
Swim Agali Beach turquoise crescent
Boat-trip to Katergo Beach (no road access)

Stern-to on Karavostasi town quay (free, lazy lines on inner side). Wash from incoming ferries — secure a long stern line. Anchor in Vardia Bay (8 m sand) for a quieter overnight.

Folegandros → Milos (Adhamas)
Milos dazzles with candy-colored ports and lunar settings. The bone-white beaches of Kayak Sarakiniko then snorkel in the crystal caves of Papafragas. Dock in Klima's rainbow syrmata, where homes of fisherman radiate in the evening. On deck, toast the day with a sundowner as the horizon melts into gold.
Things to do
Tender or RIB tour to Kleftiko sea caves
Walk the Sarakiniko lunar landscape
Snorkel Papafragas sea caverns
Sunset at Plaka castle viewpoint
Photograph the Klima rainbow syrmata
Mooring tip
Stern-to on Adamantas town quay (lazy lines, fees apply). Fills early in August — call port police on VHF 12 from 30 min out. Pollonia and Klima are the anchorage alternatives if quay is full.

Milos → Sifnos (Kamares)
Twenty-two nautical miles north onto Sifnos — the gastronomic island of the western Cyclades, the home of Greek chef culture and the source of the clay-pot cuisine that travels the country under the Sifniot label. Kamares Bay opens west under low cliffs, with a long sandy beach behind the quay and a row of seafront tavernas; the lazy-line stern-to (small fee) is the easy social option, with plenty of room for 30+ boats. If the Meltemi tops 20 kn from the north and pushes swell into Kamares, shift to Vathy on the south-west coast — a small horseshoe bay with the Chrysopigi Monastery on the southern headland and total shelter on 5–7 m sand. Mastelo — lamb slow-cooked overnight in a sealed clay pot with red wine, dill and bay leaf — is the Sifniot signature plate, served Easter Sunday and on request elsewhere; revithokeftedes chickpea balls are the everyday meze. The pottery studios in Kamares date the same craft back to the Bronze Age. Sundown swim at Vroulidia hidden cove.
Things to do
Hike the cliff path to Chrysopigi Monastery
Mastelo clay-pot lamb in Artemonas
Pottery-studio visit in Kamares
Save room for revithokeftedes (chickpea balls)
Sundown swim at Vroulidia hidden cove
Mooring tip
Kamares quay (lazy lines, small fee) for the social scene. Vathy bay is the calmest in Meltemi (5–7 m sand) — switch there if N winds top 20 kn.

Sifnos → Serifos (Livadi)
Anchoring on Livadi's crescent harbor, Serifos's tough beauty shows. Follow the donkey path to Chora, a whitewashed maze whose cobbles are under control by cats. Lunch at a taverna on citrus revithada stew, the Aegean stretching down like a dream from the cliffs.
Things to do
Hike the donkey path up to Chora village
Lunch on revithada chickpea stew
Swim Psili Ammos Beach turquoise crescent
Visit the abandoned mines at Mega Livadi
Sundowner with 360° Aegean views from Chora
Mooring tip
Stern-to on Livadi town quay (lazy lines, free). Excellent shelter from N Meltemi behind the headland. Anchor space in the bay (8 m sand) if quay is full.

Serifos → Kythnos (Merichas)
Kythnos speaks simply. Swim in the sliver of sand separating twin bays at Kolona Beach or relax in Loutra's hot springs, warmed by the ancient pulse of the soil. Under a sky covered with stars, dine on grilled sfougato, cheese pie, the water sighing against the dock.
Things to do
Lunch swim at Kolona Beach sandbar
Soak in the Loutra thermal spring pools
Dinner of sfougato cheese pie
Wander Chora whitewashed lanes at sunset
Sundown swim off the boat in Apokrousi Bay
Mooring tip
Stern-to on Merihas town quay (free, lazy lines on inner side) or Loutra small marina (lazy lines, small fee). Holding poor in W swell — drop anchor in Apokrousi Bay 1 nm north (8 m sand) if forecast goes bad.

Kythnos → Lavrion
Sail north toward Lavrion, with dolphins dancing in your path. Stop at Cape Sounion for a last dip under Poseidon's temple; the evening light has bronzed her columns. Once back in port, savor your journey with ouzo and salted stories at a dockside taverna—already yearning to return.
Things to do
Last swim below the Temple of Poseidon
Photograph Sounion columns from the water
Refuel at Lavrion fuel dock
Sort gear and pack swim kit at anchor
Farewell ouzo and meze on the marina quay
Mooring tip
Lavrion Olympic Marina, lazy lines on assigned berth — call marina office on VHF 09 from 30 min out. Hand-back briefing at 18:00 Friday; sleep aboard, disembark Saturday by 09:00.

Lavrion → Lavrion
Final morning at Lavrion Olympic Marina — the technical hand-back is straightforward when fuel and clean-time were sorted at the Friday 18:00 briefing. Boat back by 09:00 Saturday for the marineros' inspection, papers signed at reception. Lavrion was Athens' silver-mining port in the 5th century BC — the wealth that built the Acropolis and paid the rowers at Salamis came out of these hills, and the open-air ancient washing tables 3 km west of the marina preserve the original ore-processing terraces. The kafeneio inside the marina gate does Greek coffee and koulouri sesame ring breakfast on the quay; pick up Cycladic souvenirs from the little shop near the harbour office on the way out. Athens International Airport (ATH) is 50 minutes by KTEL bus or private taxi from the marina gate; book the transfer the evening before in August peak. Disembark with sea-stiff hair, a camera roll of cliff sunsets, and the long memory of a Meltemi day on the beam.
Things to do
Greek coffee at a marina kafeneio
Final crew photo on the bow
Pick up Cycladic souvenirs in town
Transfer to Athens airport (~50 min)
Toast the trip before disembarking
Mooring tip
