Day 1 / 14
Kea
1
Day 1

AthensKea (Vourkari)

Starting your journey in Athens, where the Acropolis guards over a city humming with espresso-fueled activity, Go northeast; the Aegean stretches ahead like a sapphire promise. Anchor at Kea's Vourkari Bay—a crescent of blue edged with tamarisk trees. Explore the WWII wreck Brittany at twilight, then feast on octopus carpaccio at a riverfront bar; the harbor lights flickering like fireflies

Things to do

Espresso & briefing at Alimos before cast-off

Sail past Cape Sounion temple

Anchor & swim in Vourkari Bay

Dive the WWII wreck Burdigala

Octopus carpaccio at a quayside bar

Mooring tip

Stern-to at Vourkari quay (free, lazy lines limited — bring stern anchor). Bay shelters from N Meltemi; in S winds shift to Otzias cove (3 nm north, sand 6 m). Long day — leave Alimos by 09:00 to clear Sounion before afternoon thermal.

Syros
2
Day 2

KeaSyros (Ermoupolis)

Let the Meltemi winds guide you into Syros, where neoclassical homes slink down Ermoupolis's hill sides like a pastel waterfall. Wander marble-paved lanes to Miaouli Square, where great cafes buzz with rumors. Climb the labyrinthine stairs of Ano Syros at sunset while bouzouki music floats from blue-door bars. Not missed is a slice of century-old confectionary loukoumi, or rosewater Turkish pleasure.

Things to do

Climb to Ano Syros at sunset

Loukoumi tasting on Miaouli Square

Wander Vaporia neoclassical waterfront

Cathedral hop — Catholic + Orthodox

Bouzouki taverna in the back-streets

Mooring tip

Stern-to on Ermoupoli main quay (free, large, lazy lines). Best Meltemi shelter in the Cyclades — your bad-weather card if a strong N forecast appears later in the trip. Finikas Bay (5 nm SW) is the quiet alternative.

Tinos
3
Day 3

SyrosTinos

Sail to Tinos, the heart of the Cyclades spiritually. Dock under the famous Church of Panagia Evangelistria, its pilgrims on knees. Escape to Volax village, where the terrain is sculpted like old monuments by massive granite rocks. Lunch on artichokes a la polita in a farm-to-table courtyard; then, search Pyrgos for marble crafts—the mysteries of the island carved in stone.

Things to do

Visit Panagia Evangelistria church

Drive to granite-boulder Volax village

Marble-craft browse in Pyrgos

Lunch on artichokes a la polita

Beach stop at Kionia or Agios Sostis

Mooring tip

Stern-to on Tinos main town quay (free, lazy lines). Holds the Meltemi well; in strong N gusts reposition to the south side of the breakwater. Fuel berth available — top up before the Mykonos crowd arrives.

Mykonos
4
Day 4

TinosMykonos

Trade peace for sizzle as the windmills of Mykonos rise on the horizon. Beach-hop from the DJ rhythms of Paradise to Agios Sostis' secret peace. Get lost in the maze of designer boutiques and blue-domed chapels that is Mykonos Town. Dine on lobster pasta in Little Venice, the waters lapping at your feet, then dance until morning under a sky peppered with stars.

Things to do

Sundowner cocktails in Little Venice

Photograph the Kato Mili windmills

Boat tour to sacred Delos at sunrise

Beach day at Paradise or Agios Sostis

Lobster pasta dinner in Little Venice

Mooring tip

Mykonos New Marina (Tourlos, lazy lines, paid) is the only safe summer option — old port is fully exposed to N Meltemi. Book by VHF a day ahead in August; rates rise sharply in peak. No anchoring inside Tourlos.

Paros
5
Day 5

MykanosParos (Naousa)

Sail to Paros' Naousa, a postcard-perfect fishing harbor where boats sparkle next worn-out kaikia and octopuses dry on ropes. swim on the moon-rock beaches of Kolymbithres, then sip Assyrtiko wine from a vineyard built on old marble quarries. Join the vibe at a seaside cocktail bar as evening falls—the air heavy with jasmine and music.

Things to do

Swim Kolymbithres wind-sculpted rocks

Wander Naoussa's fishing-harbour lanes

Assyrtiko tasting at a marble-quarry winery

Sundowner at a Naoussa harbour bar

Octopus & ouzo dinner on the quay

Mooring tip

Stern-to in Naoussa fishing harbour (small, fills early — arrive by 14:00 in August). Lazy lines limited; bring stern anchor. Parikia main quay is the larger fallback, well-sheltered from N Meltemi.

Ios
6
Day 6

ParosIos

Allow the waves to bring you to Ios, where all-night celebration meets beautiful beaches. Claim a sunbed in Mylopotas, then climb to Homer's legendary tomb for breath-stealing sunset vues. By midnight the hamlet square bursts in rembeka music and clinking ouzo glasses. Pro tip: All sins are healed at Magganari Beach by morning dips.

Things to do

Beach day at Mylopotas

Climb to Homer's tomb for sunset

Swim stop at Manganari's clear shallows

Hike up to Chora's windmill ridge

Late-night rebetika in the village square

Mooring tip

Stern-to in Ormos main port (free, lazy lines limited). Holds the Meltemi but afternoon swell rolls in — go bow-to with stern anchor for comfort. Manganari (south coast, sand 5 m) is the daytime anchor option, exposed in S winds.

Santorini
7
Day 7

IosSantorini

Get to Santorini in afternoon light, the calera ablaze. Swim in volcanic hot springs from Thirasia, the gentler twin of the volcano. After sailing to Oia for the sunset—the sky melting into colors of apricot and rose—then savor fava with capers in a cliffside cave restaurant. Night sleep? Overly praised.

Things to do

Swim the volcanic hot springs off Thirasia

Anchor under the red-cliff Akrotiri

Sunset photo from Oia's blue-domed lanes

Cliffside cave-restaurant dinner of fava

Cable-car descent from Fira to old port

Mooring tip

Vlychada Marina on the south coast (lazy lines, paid, small — book by VHF) is the only safe overnight option; the caldera is too deep for anchoring (200+ m). Hot-springs anchorage off Palia Kameni works for a daytime stop only — sulfur stains hulls.

Folegandros
8
Day 8

SantoriniFolegandros

Leave the throngs behind and find Chora's whitewashed village clinging to cliffs like a seabird's nest in Folegandros. Trekking the zigzag road to Panagia church, the Aegean stretches out like a blue silk sheet. Dinner is here. In a courtyard illuminated by lanterns, matsata (hand-cut pasta) with wild goat ragù. Perfection does not call for neon.

Things to do

Drive up to Chora hilltop village

Hike to Panagia church for sunset

Matsata pasta at a lantern-lit courtyard

Swim at Agali pebble cove

Stargaze from the Chora ridge

Mooring tip

Stern-to on Karavostasi quay (free, limited spots — fishing boats have priority). Holding fair in 6 m sand. Bay holds the N Meltemi but ferry wash rocks the boat — anchor in Vardia Bay (1 nm north) for a quieter night.

Milos
9
Day 9

FolegandrosMilos (Adhamas)

Milos shows up, a rainbow of volcanic colors. Then sail into Klima's candy-colored syrmata (fishermen's homes), kayak Sarakiniko's bone-white moonscape. Explore the sea caves of Papafragas and celebrate the day on a boat deck with a sunset cocktail reflecting Adhamas's crystal harbor.

Things to do

Anchor & swim at Kleftiko sea caves

Walk Sarakiniko's white volcanic moonscape

Tour the painted-door syrmata at Klima

Snorkel through Papafragas arches

Sunset cocktail on Adamas waterfront

Mooring tip

Adamas inner gulf is the largest natural harbour in the Cyclades — anchor anywhere in 5–8 m sand, dead flat in any wind direction. Town quay limited stern-to slots. Best storm refuge between Cyclades and the Peloponnese.

Kamares
10
Day 10

MilosSifnos (Kamares)

Chart Sifnos, the gastronomic master of the Cyclades. At Kamares, where cerulean waves kiss a golden arc of sand, dock. Trek to the thin rock cleft by the sea, the Chrysopigi monastery, then feast on mastelo—lamb roasted in clay pots—at a hillside taverna. Secret: The croquettes made from chickpeas here destroy everything else.

Things to do

Visit Chrysopigi monastery on its sea cleft

Drive to Apollonia's whitewashed lanes

Slow-cooked mastelo lamb at a hillside taverna

Chickpea-croquette tasting (revithokeftedes)

Beach swim at Vathy's long sand crescent

Mooring tip

Stern-to on Kamares quay (free, lazy lines on outer pontoon) or anchor in 4–6 m sand on the north side of the bay. Holds a moderate Meltemi; in strong N winds shift south to Vathy Bay (sand 5 m, deserted).

Serifos
11
Day 11

SifnosSerifos

The untamed beauty of Serifos emerges—a jagged form against the horizon. Anchor in Livadi's horseshoe bay, then climb the donkey path to Chora, a white cube house swarm. Lunch at a cliffside kafeneio on revithada, lemony chickpea stew, with a cat dozing at your feet. Greece stripped naked, raw and brilliant is what this is.

Things to do

Hike the donkey path to Chora

Sundowner from the Chora windmill

Bowl of revithada at a hillside kafeneio

Swim Psili Ammos turquoise-shallows

Tsipouro tasting at a family kafeneio

Mooring tip

Stern-to on Livadi quay (free, lazy lines on outer pontoon). Bay holds the Meltemi well, but afternoon swell rolls in — go bow-to with stern anchor for comfort. No marina or fuel — top up before leaving Sifnos.

Serifos
12
Day 12

SerifosKithnos (Merihas)

Ship to Kithnos, where simplicity rules. Swim in the sliver of sand separating twin bays at Kolona Beach or relax in Loutra's hot springs, heated by the pulse of the earth. At a harbour taverna, dine on grilled sfoungato (cheese pie), the stars so near you will swear you could grab them from the heavens.

Things to do

Anchor & swim at Kolona double bay

Soak in Loutra's thermal springs

Dinghy across to Apokrousi Bay

Grilled sfoungato pie on Merihas waterfront

Stargaze from anchor — minimal light pollution

Mooring tip

Stern-to on Merihas main quay (free, lazy lines limited). Holding fair in 6 m sand. Kolona Bay (3 nm north) is the postcard anchorage — sand 4–6 m, but exposed to N swell, fine for daytime stop only.

Kithnos
13
Day 13

KithnosAthens

Allow the Saronic Gulf to lead you home; dolphins chasing your bow as Athens' skyline rises. Stop for one last swim at the temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion. Return to Piraeus and celebrate your journey with ouzo and spicy taramasalata, the Acropolis glittering golden far away. "Next year," the sea murmurs.

Things to do

Last swim stop at Cape Sounion bay

Photograph the Athens skyline on approach

Refuel at Alimos before berthing

Final crew dinner on board at the marina

Settle inventory & prepare for hand-back

Mooring tip

Return to Alimos by 18:00 Friday for the technical hand-back; sleep aboard, disembark Saturday by 09:00. Direct shuttle to Athens International Airport (~50 min) — book taxi night before in August.

Athens
14
Day 14

AthensAthens (Check Out)

Set sail with the wind in your hair, a memory card full with sunsets, and a soul burdened by the enchantment of the Aegean. While enjoying a breakfast of honey-drenched yogurt, you can't help but fantasize about going back to these islands. Not flings, but lovers.

Things to do

Final inventory & technical hand-back

Disembark with luggage by 09:00

Order taxi or shuttle to airport

Last Greek coffee on the marina pier

Save crew photos before everyone scatters
